Common Errors & Fixes
1. Bot does not respond
Your tweet may be private
The bot was not tagged correctly
The command format is invalid
Fix:
Make sure your account is public and the tweet includes @OctaBot with a valid command.
2. Invalid command format This usually happens when:
/separator is missingExtra spaces are added in the symbol
$is included in the symbol
Incorrect
ELON MUSK - $ELONCorrect
ELON MUSK / ELON3. Token deployed but transfer failed This can happen if:
The username does not exist
The account is suspended or invalid
Important: Deployment still succeeds even if the transfer fails.
4. Duplicate or unavailable name/symbol If a token name or symbol already exists on the platform, deployment may fail.
Fix: Choose a different name or symbol and repost the command.
What OctaBot Will NOT Do
It will not guess or autocorrect commands
It will not reply to unclear or partial instructions
It will not deploy tokens from DMs
It will not reverse deployments
OctaBot is strict by design to avoid mistakes and abuse.
Best Practices
Keep commands short and clean
Double-check spelling before posting
Avoid editing tweets after posting
Use one command per tweet
If something fails, fix it and repost. That’s it.
