Troubleshooting & Errors

This section helps you understand why a command may fail and how to fix it.

Common Errors & Fixes

1. Bot does not respond

  • Your tweet may be private

  • The bot was not tagged correctly

  • The command format is invalid

Fix: Make sure your account is public and the tweet includes @OctaBot with a valid command.

2. Invalid command format This usually happens when:

  • / separator is missing

  • Extra spaces are added in the symbol

  • $ is included in the symbol

Incorrect

ELON MUSK - $ELON

Correct

ELON MUSK / ELON

3. Token deployed but transfer failed This can happen if:

  • The username does not exist

  • The account is suspended or invalid

Important: Deployment still succeeds even if the transfer fails.

4. Duplicate or unavailable name/symbol If a token name or symbol already exists on the platform, deployment may fail.

Fix: Choose a different name or symbol and repost the command.

What OctaBot Will NOT Do

  • It will not guess or autocorrect commands

  • It will not reply to unclear or partial instructions

  • It will not deploy tokens from DMs

  • It will not reverse deployments

OctaBot is strict by design to avoid mistakes and abuse.

Best Practices

  • Keep commands short and clean

  • Double-check spelling before posting

  • Avoid editing tweets after posting

  • Use one command per tweet

If something fails, fix it and repost. That’s it.
